Specialized Construction Activities

This division covers specialized construction activities that involve the construction of specific parts of buildings and civil engineering works, typically without taking on the entire project. These activities require specialized skills or equipment and are often performed under subcontract.

Includes

  • Construction of parts of buildings and civil engineering works
  • Specialized activities such as pile driving, foundation work, carcass work, concrete work, brick laying, stone setting, scaffolding, and roof covering
  • Erection of steel structures, provided parts are not produced by the same unit
  • Building finishing and completion activities
  • Installation of utilities necessary for construction functionality, including plumbing, heating and air-conditioning systems, antennas, alarm systems, and other electrical work
  • Repair activities related to the above-mentioned tasks
  • Activities contributing to building completion such as glazing, plastering, painting, and floor and wall tiling
  • Renting of construction equipment with operator
