This subclass covers various human health activities that are not conducted by hospitals or medical doctors and dentists. It includes services provided by nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, and other paramedical practitioners in settings such as health clinics, residential facilities, and private consulting rooms.

Includes

  • Activities of nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, and other paramedical practitioners in fields like optometry, hydrotherapy, medical massage, occupational therapy, speech therapy, chiropody, homeopathy, chiropractic, and acupuncture
  • Activities of dental paramedical personnel such as dental therapists, school dental nurses, and dental hygienists
  • Activities of blood banks, sperm banks, and transplant organ banks
  • Ambulance transport of patients by any mode of transport, including airplanes
  • Activities of maternity and lying-in clinics
